About the role
For our client, we are seeking a Senior Director Global IT And Infrastructure to join the team of a leader in the Retail & Consumer Goods space. This role will lead technical work focused on secure, reliable systems and risk-aware execution. You will work across engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical technology solutions. The position offers the opportunity to influence architecture, execution quality, and the technology capabilities that enable long-term growth within a consumer-facing environment.
Responsibilities
- Define and execute the global IT infrastructure strategy linked to business goals
- Develop scalable technology capabilities across multiple regions
- Collaborate with executives to align tech investments with business priorities
- Assess new technologies for enhanced operational scalability and security
- Lead modernization initiatives for global infrastructure platforms
- Set governance and operational standards for enterprise technology
- Manage technology planning for international expansion and mergers
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or similar field
- 15+ years of IT leadership experience focusing on enterprise infrastructure and global operations
- Experience managing large-scale infrastructure across diverse technology areas
- Experience supporting global enterprises, especially in Europe and Asia Pacific
- Proven track record of leading infrastructure during significant growth and M&A processes
- Expertise in cloud infrastructure, networking, cybersecurity, and IT operations
- Strong financial management skills for technology budgeting
