About the role
The Senior Director, Global Connected Media Strategy will lead the development and execution of Coca-Cola’s global connected media strategy, ensuring alignment with the company’s overall marketing and business objectives. This role is critical in driving innovation and effectiveness in how Coca-Cola engages with consumers across digital, social, and emerging media platforms.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a global connected media strategy that enhances consumer engagement and drives business growth.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, digital, insights, and external agency partners, to ensure cohesive and impactful media execution.
- Lead the integration of data and technology to optimize media performance and deliver measurable results.
- Identify and leverage emerging media trends, platforms, and technologies to keep Coca-Cola at the forefront of innovation.
- Oversee the global media budget, ensuring efficient allocation and maximizing return on investment.
- Drive thought leadership in connected media, representing Coca-Cola at industry events and forums.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key media partners, platforms, and vendors.
- Monitor and analyze media performance, providing actionable insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
Requirements
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in media strategy, digital marketing, or a related field, with at least 5 years in a global or multi-market role.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful connected media strategies for a global brand.
- Deep expertise in digital, social, and emerging media platforms, with a strong understanding of data-driven marketing.
- Experience managing large media budgets and optimizing spend across multiple markets.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- Experience working in the consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry is a plus.
- Familiarity with global markets and cultural nuances in media consumption.
