Senior Director, Financial Management (FP&A) - Personal Loans
About the role
The role of Senior Director, Financial Management (FP&A) - Personal Loans at Capital One is to serve as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for the Personal Loans business following the acquisition of Discover. This role involves working closely with the Head of Personal Loans and their Business Leadership Team, the Card Finance Leadership Team, and key senior leaders across various Finance disciplines.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or other quantitative discipline, or military experience.
- At least 10 years of experience in Finance, Business Analytics, Accounting, Strategy Consulting, or a combination.
- At least 6 years of experience managing a Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) function.
- At least 5 years of people management experience.
Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA) or Master's Degree in Finance preferred.
- Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) license or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license preferred.
- 10+ years of experience managing a Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) function preferred.
- 10+ years of people management experience including both direct & indirect reports preferred.
Benefits
This role is also eligible to earn performance-based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonuses and/or long-term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non-discretionary depending on the plan.
Pay
The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed-upon number of hours to be regularly worked.
- Chicago, IL: $217,000 - $247,700 for Sr. Director, Financial Mgt.
