Senior Director, Field Medical Excellence
About the role
We're seeking a Senior Director, Field Medical Excellence (FME) to lead our efforts in expanding possibilities for patients with serious diseases. Reporting to the Executive Director, Head of Medical Excellence, this role will drive the vision and mission of the FME team.
Responsibilities
- Ensure clarity in goals and objectives for FME, enabling effective decision-making and prioritization, and proactively planning for team readiness and effectiveness.
- Create a long-term roadmap for key field medical capabilities advancement, considering regional needs, external customer expectations, and industry best practices.
- Develop, track, and optimize annual budget for FME in alignment with programs and regions, ensuring appropriate resource allocation to meet business needs.
- Demonstrate consistent field medical capabilities across regions and therapeutic areas in the US and co-create solutions to meet global needs.

Requirements
- Advanced degree (PharmD, PhD, MD, NP-C) with 10+ years of Medical Affairs experience, including 5+ years of field medical excellence experience.
- Advanced leadership skills with 5+ years of people leadership experience.
- Proven track record working in a global environment across multiple international markets, with understanding of US, European, and Japanese markets.
- Deep understanding of regional healthcare systems and compliance environments.
- Strong leadership presence and ability to present and engage across the organization.
- Able to influence with and without authority while building strong internal partnerships.
- Strategic thinker with a forward-looking, continuous improvement mindset.
- Able to prioritize effectively and design clear, high-impact processes.
- Creative problem-solving skills with flexibility to adapt to changing priorities.
Qualifications

$222,000.00 - $303,000.00 Annual
