Senior Director, Enterprise Performance Management Transformation
About the Role
This Senior Director-level role collaborates across Commercial, GPS, R&D, G&A, BIT, and the Business Integrator. The position serves as the enterprise owner of the Planning Process Design & EPM Implementation program, a priority workstream of the GBO Data, Tech & AI Roadmap. The role is responsible for aligning EPM & Planning implementation, process redesign, and the broader GBO Data and Reporting strategies into one cohesive vision. The Senior Director will drive outcomes across a program with no established playbook, adapting the approach as the roadmap evolves from 2026 through 2028 and beyond.
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end accountability for the Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) & Planning workstream of the GBO Rewiring roadmap, including Touchless Forecast, Process Design, and EPM Implementation. Replace Hyperion with a modern, cloud-based EPM platform with embedded AI.
- Set the governance structure, cadence, and decision rights across the Leadership Team, Core Leads, BIT, Data & Process SMEs, and the Business Integrator, keeping Culture, Talent, Change Management, and governance as the foundation through every phase.
- Serve as executive sponsor for the implementation program, holding the Business Integrator and internal teams accountable to the agreed design, build, test, and deployment plan.
- Champion the vision: actively advocate for the roadmap within Finance and GBO leadership circles and reinforce why the EPM & Planning program matters for achieving enterprise goals.
- Think and act as an enterprise owner, connecting the Planning Process Design workstream to the GBO Data Strategy, GBO Reporting Strategy, and the wider GBO Data, Tech & AI roadmap so decisions in one stream serve the full enterprise.
- Operate with dynamism and adaptability given no pre-existing playbook exists for this project; build the operating model in real time, adjusting scope, sequencing, or approach as new requirements, dependencies, or risks emerge across the multi-year roadmap.
- Remove roadblocks, resolve escalations, and validate that program outcomes remain tied to scope, timing, funding, and the agreed support model, in close partnership with the Business Integrator.
- Provide regular status updates to the GBO Leadership Team and represent the program to executive stakeholders, including progress against the target of moving BMS toward Digital World-Class planning capabilities.
