Senior Director - Digital Workplace

Responsibilities

  • Define and execute the growth strategy for the Digital Workplace practice.
  • Build a qualified pipeline that supports bookings, revenue, margin, and pull-through objectives.
  • Partner with Microsoft, Cognizant, and Sales teams to identify and shape strategic workplace transformation opportunities.
  • Develop trusted relationships with executive stakeholders, including CIOs, HR leaders, CISOs, and business executives.
  • Position Digital Workplace as a strategic business transformation capability that improves employee experience, productivity, collaboration, and adoption.
  • Develop and evolve a portfolio of repeatable Digital Workplace offerings, methodologies, accelerators, and implementation frameworks.
  • Lead complex solutioning efforts, including discovery, assessments, executive workshops, proposals, pricing, and contracting.
  • Ensure solutions integrate Microsoft technologies with governance, security, organizational change, employee experience, and adoption.
  • Translate Microsoft's product roadmap, Copilot innovations, AI capabilities, and market trends into differentiated services and client value.
  • Provide executive oversight for strategic and high-risk Digital Workplace engagements.
  • Establish standards for delivery quality, governance, security, adoption, and business value realization.
  • Partner with delivery leadership to ensure engagements achieve client outcomes, financial objectives, and contractual commitments.
  • Capture reusable assets, implementation patterns, client references, and success stories to improve future delivery.
  • Build, develop, and lead a high-performing team of workplace architects, consultants, engineers, adoption specialists, and delivery leaders.
  • Define organizational structure, competencies, career paths, and succession plans.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, innovation, and client-centric consulting.
  • Partner with Organizational Change Management, Experience Design, Security, Cloud, AI, and Advisory teams to deliver integrated client solutions.
  • Balance onshore, offshore, partner, and managed delivery capacity to support scalable growth.
  • Own pipeline, bookings, revenue, gross margin, utilization, managed-services growth, and capability performance.
  • Develop annual operating plans, investment priorities, hiring strategies, and capacity forecasts.
  • Monitor business performance, market demand, offering adoption, profitability, and delivery health.
  • Provide executive reporting and strategic recommendations to senior leadership.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of experience in Digital Workplace, Microsoft 365, enterprise collaboration, consulting, systems integration, or related fields.
  • 8+ years in formal, progressive leadership roles in consulting, architecture, engineering, or professional services organizations.
  • Demonstrated success building or scaling Digital Workplace, Microsoft 365, collaboration, or employee experience capabilities.
  • Deep expertise in Microsoft 365, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Intune, Entra, Windows, and modern workplace technologies.
  • Experience leading enterprise workplace transformation, collaboration, or Microsoft 365 modernization initiatives.
  • Proven success developing and selling consulting services while owning or influencing pipeline, bookings, and revenue.
  • Strong executive communication and client advisory skills with the ability to connect technology investments to measurable business outcomes.
  • Experience leading multidisciplinary consulting teams within a matrixed organization.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • Preferred qualifications include experience working within the Microsoft partner ecosystem, partnering with a global systems integrator or large enterprise account organization, experience with Microsoft 365 Copilot, Copilot Studio, Viva, Power Platform, and workplace analytics, knowledge of Microsoft security, compliance, identity, and data-governance capabilities, experience developing managed workplace or end-user support services, relevant Microsoft Digital Work, security, adoption, or architecture certifications, and experience integrating workplace transformation with OCM, Experience Design, and AI capabilities.
