Responsibilities
- Oversees entire design/design compliance review team.
- Fosters a culture of innovation and change in design delivery methods, technologies, and strategy.
- Provides the DSO with lessons learned and strategies to streamline design reviews and creates training opportunities across integrated project teams.
- Establishes, monitors, and/or audits the Design-Builder’s design and engineering activities for compliance with the Contract requirements and the Design-Builder’s Quality Control Plan.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction or Project Management, Business Administration, Transportation, or a related field.
- Minimum of twelve (12) years of related experience.
- Minimum of eight (8) years in managing design projects or supervisory roles in a large, multi-faceted organization.
Qualifications
- Licensed Professional Engineer or Registered Architect required.
- Demonstrated experience in design project management for major construction projects.
- Proven ability to collaborate with a broad range of stakeholders and drive outcomes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to build relationships and work collaboratively with stakeholders at all internal organizational levels.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a high-profile, high-pressure environment effectively.
- Must have focus and ability to deliver on results, organizational effectiveness, and continuous improvement.
- Must be a proven leader as a change agent and creative/innovative thinker with the ability to align business goals with solutions to drive process improvements.
- Must possess excellent team-building, listening, problem-solving, and prioritization skills.

Schedule
Hours Of Work: 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM or as required (7.5HR/DAY)
Pay
Salary Range: $149,247 to $186,559
