About the Role
This role will provide business-aligned guidance focused on governance, compliance, and operational risk management. You will partner with leaders, compliance stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to translate complex issues into practical recommendations. Responsibilities
- Lead the establishment and management of the company’s global compliance framework for FinCrime and content moderation
- Serve as the named Canadian AML Compliance Officer and oversee compliance with applicable laws in international jurisdictions
- Develop and oversee compliance strategies for state charitable solicitation laws across the US
- Architect and maintain a global risk assessment framework focused on regulatory exposure and preparedness for audits
- Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance is integrated into operations and workflows
- Monitor evolving regulatory landscapes and assess their implications on business operations
- Facilitate effective regulatory engagement and maintain productive relationships with authorities
Qualifications
- 12-15 years of compliance experience in highly regulated sectors, particularly payments, fintech, or technology companies
- Deep expertise in AML, BSA/ATF, and FinCrime regulations across multiple jurisdictions
- Strong knowledge of Canadian AML/ATF laws, including PCMLTFA and FINTRAC standards
- Experience as a named compliance officer with regulatory responsibilities, such as CAMLO or equivalent roles
- Proven ability to influence C-suite executives and navigate complex compliance strategies
- Track record of designing and enhancing compliance programs in fast-paced environments
- Strong relationship-building skills with regulatory authorities and the ability to engage at executive levels

Pay
$253,000 – $380,000 annually
