Senior Dining Manager - LTE
About the role
The Meal Site Manager oversees the daily organization, staffing, and on-site activities of the Elderly Nutrition Program at the Senior Dining Site. This position ensures meals are received, served, and/or delivered safely and efficiently; maintains accurate program and financial records; coordinates volunteers, staff, and drivers; and serves as the primary site contact to support high-quality service to older adults.
Responsibilities
- Oversees the daily organization, staffing, and on-site activities of the Elderly Nutrition Program at the Senior Dining Site.
- Ensures meals are received, served, and/or delivered safely and efficiently.
- Maintains accurate program and financial records.
- Collaborates with partner agencies and serves as the main point of contact for community host sites.
- Represents Waukesha County while maintaining effective and positive working relationships.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
- One year of work or volunteer experience working with the elderly or work experience in the preparation and serving of food is preferred.
- Certification in food safety and sanitation, ServSafe, or program-specific training certification upon hire or within ninety (90) days of hire.
Qualifications
This position provides coverage for regular staff during paid time off (PTO) and other absences. Hours are not guaranteed.
Skills
Strong organizational and communication skills are required. Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities effectively is essential.

Pay
SALARY RANGE $18.17 - $24.00
Schedule
As needed, Monday–Friday, 9:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m.
