The Air Force Civilian Service (AFCS) is looking for full-time Senior Digital Services Specialist, GG-2210-13 to work in the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC) at JBSA in San Antonio-Lackland, TX. The primary purpose of the position is to serve as a senior information technology (IT) specialist and technical expert within the HNCP Branch. Depending on the type of position (competitive/excepted) you are selected for, you will be required to serve a 1‑year probationary period OR 2‑year trial period. Upon completion of your probationary/trial period, your employment will be terminated unless you receive certification, in writing, that your continued employment advances the public interest. (Note: Typically, the 1‑year probationary period is for Competitive Jobs, and 2‑year trial period is for Excepted Jobs.) This position is a Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS) position aligned under authorities of Section 1601, Chapter 83 of Title 10, United States Code and DoD Instruction 1400.25‑V3007.
