Senior Digital Delivery (BIM) Lead

The Senior Digital Delivery Lead serves as a senior technical lead for highly complex, multi-discipline, and high-visibility projects, providing advanced coordination, QA/QC, technical direction, and mentorship. This role partners with project teams and Digital Delivery leadership to support project delivery, guide digital delivery strategy, maintain alignment with firm standards, and contribute to and advance consistent digital delivery practices across PAE in alignment with established firm standards.

Responsibilities
- Lead digital delivery for multiple highly complex, multi-discipline, and high-visibility projects in partnership with Project Managers and project teams.
- Develop and direct BIM workflows, including model segmentation, links, file management, and project collaboration strategies.
- Provide advanced technical direction to project teams on model setup, coordination processes, and digital deliverable expectations.
- Direct project model environments and digital delivery workflows using BIM 360, ACC, and related tools.
- Define and communicate project digital deliverable requirements to design and production teams.
- Lead BIM quality strategy and document QA/QC processes, maintaining ownership of digital delivery quality throughout the project lifecycle.
- Guide project teams on QMP processes and BIM-specific quality expectations.
- Develop and maintain project-specific BIM Execution Plans aligned with firm standards, project requirements, and client expectations.
- Lead BIM kickoff meetings and ongoing coordination discussions with project teams, clients, and external partners.
- Share lessons learned and contribute to BIM standards, tools, process enhancements, and rollout of new digital delivery practices.
- Apply advanced understanding of Level of Development requirements to advise on scope, fees, and digital deliverable expectations.
- Apply understanding of project scope, schedule, and budget to align digital delivery activities with project goals and delivery commitments.
- Mentor Digital Delivery Leads, junior BIM staff, and project teams through technical guidance, knowledge sharing, and project support.
- Ensure project teams have appropriate software access, model-sharing support, and digital delivery tools to meet project needs.
- Support internal BIM development efforts and rollout of new digital delivery tools.
- Serve as a senior technical resource and escalation point for complex digital delivery, coordination, and model quality issues on assigned projects.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Associate’s degree or equivalent experience.
- 10+ years of industry experience with advanced BIM or digital delivery responsibilities.
- Demonstrated success leading digital delivery for complex or multi-discipline projects across the project lifecycle.
- Strong working knowledge of BIM workflows, model coordination, QA/QC processes, and digital deliverable requirements.
- Experience supporting digital delivery across the project lifecycle on complex multi-discipline projects.
- Relevant certification or equivalent demonstrated proficiency in BIM, digital delivery, Autodesk platforms, or related tools preferred.
- Willingness to travel.
- Strong communication skills and confidence leading digital delivery discussions with project teams, clients, and external partners.
Skills
- Advanced understanding of AEC workflows and multidisciplinary engineering coordination.
- Strong proficiency in Revit, Navisworks, BIM 360 / ACC, and related digital delivery tools.
- Ability to lead BIM workflows, model environments, and digital deliverable requirements on highly complex projects.
- Strong understanding of QA/QC processes, model health, and digital delivery quality expectations across the project lifecycle.
- Ability to advise on Level of Development, scope, fees, and digital deliverable expectations.
- Strong attention to detail and awareness of project-wide coordination impacts, risks, and dependencies.
- Ability to manage workload and priorities across multiple complex projects and deadlines.
- Ability to mentor others and positively influence standards, tools, and process improvements.
- Strong technical judgment in resolving complex coordination, model management, and digital delivery issues.

Pay
Hiring base salary range: $102,800–$127,700 annual. This position is eligible for time-and-a-half overtime pay. The base salary is one component of PAE’s competitive compensation package for employees, which also includes annual compensation reviews based on performance and business needs.
