About the role

We are seeking a BIM Model Manager Senior - Digital Delivery Lead to join our team. This role provides direction for the Digital Delivery Coordinators and Specialists, manages the digital model environment and deliverables at the project level, and executes digital deliverables and supporting production teams throughout the complete lifecycle of projects.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direction for the Digital Delivery Coordinators and Specialists, along with managing the digital model environment and deliverables at the project level
  • Possess an advanced understanding of how all disciplines interact and construction documents are produced
  • Work directly with the Project Manager to assist the Coordinators and Specialists to generate and maintain the Digital Delivery Plan (DDP) and project initiation procedure, establishing the server infrastructure, discipline models, and digital deliverables outlined in the project scope
  • Execute digital deliverables and supporting production teams throughout the complete lifecycle of projects
  • Maintain quality by monitoring the model health and coordination processes of the project, from the planning phase thru issue of construction documents
  • Provide technical support, while communicating the deliverable schedule to the project team

  • Monitor and oversee the establishment of the document management system and help maintain the server infrastructure for multi-discipline projects
  • Ensure the team has Identify the appropriate software, and versions, and provide access, and training needed to execute the project requirements
  • Generate and maintain model setup including project information, coordinates, scales, orientations, scope boundaries, match-lines, views, sheets, and general models, to accommodate the disciplines and project requirements
  • Maintain company standards and model health
  • Host Digital Delivery coordination meetings with the Digital Design team to ensure optimal quality control through Design Reviews and 3D Coordination processes
  • Communicate, coordinate, and compile all project digital deliverables and exchange process at predetermined milestones
  • Project archiving at submittals and closeout
  • Engage in close and effective communication and presentations with HDR management, production staff, and clients
  • Mentor staff to help develop their skillsets
  • Provide guidance for Project Managers to support project needs
  • Engage with other Digital Delivery Leads to provide support and guidance

Requirements

  • Technical degree or a combination of education and relevant experience
  • A minimum of 5 years digital design (BIM element authoring) and 5 years digital delivery (model management) experience
  • Comprehensive understanding of all discipline relations and operations of building systems
  • Advanced skillset of 3D design software and document management infrastructure
  • Advanced skillset of 3D Coordination tools
  • Competency of Microsoft Office products and communication tools
  • Advanced understanding of engineering or architectural concepts
  • Knowledge of industry standards and practices, along with discipline codes and specifications

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced skillset of 3D design software and document management infrastructure
  • Advanced skillset of 3D Coordination tool
  • Competency of Microsoft Office products and communication tools
  • Advanced understanding of engineering or architectural concepts
  • Knowledge of industry standards and practices, along with discipline codes and specifications
  • Superior client service, communication, and presentation skills are essential
  • Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills to effectively serve as a first line of technical support
  • Excellent communication skills, attention to detail and leadership traits are essential
  • Strong organizational skills to establish priorities between technical support requests and project work
  • An enthusiastic, energetic, and excellent work ethic

Pay

The salary range for this position is $80,000 - $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience.

Schedule

This role is full-time and works a standard 40-hour week.
