Senior Digital Communications Consultant
About the role
This position is responsible for implementing and delivering a digital communications strategy for one or more customer facing portals (member, provider, employer, broker, or employee) which supports the enterprise business plan; implementing the determined strategy; handling the day-to-day operations of the digital communications development and operation team; and ensuring the realization of anticipated benefits. Role requires some support from manager and/or team SME and may need guidance on specific products, portal, processes, etc. This editorial role focuses on content coordination, editing and project management to publish clear and concise messaging in the right digital communications channel to meet business goals and stakeholder needs.
Responsibilities
- Implement and deliver a digital communications strategy for one or more customer facing portals (member, provider, employer, broker, or employee)
- Handle the day-to-day operations of the digital communications development and operation team
- Ensure the realization of anticipated benefits
- Support from manager and/or team SME as needed
- Focus on content coordination, editing, and project management
- Publish clear and concise messaging in the right digital communications channel to meet business goals and stakeholder needs
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Three (3) years’ experience developing web analytics/e-business reports OR diverse business and technology experience understanding of the business and industry the technology is supporting OR usability concepts and various qualitative and quantitative user research methodologies OR electronic marketing technology, customer relationship management (CRM), and integrated marketing strategies OR experience in a web production environment
- Understanding of current and emerging digital communications channels and related technologies (i.e., Web 2.0, social media, email marketing, and analytics tools)
- Experience compiling relevant data for the purposes of reporting on digital campaign results and enabling insights for future tactic enhancements
- Knowledge of segmentation and testing strategies
- Leadership and innovation skills
- Ability to work both collaboratively and with limited direction
- Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills to include editing, and storytelling
- Organizational skills and attention to detail and solid project planning skills with the ability to manage multiple projects at one time
- Experience building working relationships across all levels of the organization
- Experience with MS Office Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, Access, Teams, OneDrive)
Preferred Job Qualifications
- Knowledge of search engine optimization, tagging and source codes
- Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Marketing, Communications or related field
- Experience in health insurance, health care or other highly regulated industry
- Some knowledge of marketing delivery platforms and content management systems is a plus

Pay
Compensation: $55,900.00 - $123,500.00 Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location
