What You’ll Be Launching

We are currently hiring for two DevOps positions. One role will be located in Colorado Springs, CO (hybrid: 50% remote, 50% SCIF), and the second position will be based in DC, Colorado Springs, or LA (hybrid: 50% remote, 50% SCIF).

Sr. DevOps Engineer

• Design, build, and maintain scalable infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
• Manage continuous integration pipelines
• Support system administration tasks
• Ensure optimal performance, availability, and security of Linux-based systems
• Collaborate closely with software developers to enhance deployment workflows and drive improvements in the overall system architecture

Your Mission

Partner with offshore and onshore engineering teams to design, implement, and scale cloud-native infrastructure supporting a new customer portal and ongoing platform refactoring efforts.

Architect, Build, and Maintain Kubernetes-Based Environments

• Powers production systems
• Ensures scalability, resilience, and security

Infrastructure as Code Initiatives

• Automate provisioning, configuration, and environment consistency across AWS

CI/CD Pipelines

• Improve deployment velocity, reliability, and developer experience

MLOps Practices

• Enable efficient deployment, monitoring, and lifecycle management of machine learning workflows

DevSecOps Best Practices

• Incorporate security controls, compliance requirements, and monitoring into the development lifecycle

Automation Initiatives

• Reduce manual processes and increase system reliability and repeatability

Collaboration

• Work closely with Platform, Engineering, and cross-functional stakeholders
• Gather requirements, troubleshoot issues, and continuously improve system architecture

System Performance Monitoring

• Identify bottlenecks and proactively implement improvements to optimize availability and cost efficiency
• Support incident response and root cause analysis efforts
• Drive long-term fixes and ensure lessons learned translate into system improvements

Salary

$117,000 - $180,000
