Responsibilities
- Administer, maintain, and optimize cloud-hosted application instances across Azure environments.
- Deploy and manage both web-based and desktop-based applications, including application delivery via Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD).
- Design, implement, and maintain integration workflows between SaaS platforms, VM-hosted applications, and third-party APIs.
- Monitor application and infrastructure health, performance, and usage; proactively identify, troubleshoot, and resolve operational issues.
- Manage application and infrastructure configurations, including patching, updates, version control, and security/compliance enforcement.
- Implement automation for deployment, configuration management, and operational tasks using DevOps best practices.
- Evaluate and recommend tools, technologies, and process improvements that enhance operational efficiency, reliability, and scalability.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications/Technical Experience Requirements
- Must be a US citizen.
- 4-5 years of experience in cloud application administration and integration engineering.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
- Must be a US citizen.
- Active Secret security clearance and willingness to attain a TS/SCI clearance.
- Security+ required, but can be obtained after hiring.
- Strong understanding of Azure services including Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD), Azure VMs, Azure Storage, Azure App Services, and Azure Networking.
- Experience managing and deploying both web-based and desktop-based applications in virtualized or cloud-hosted environments.
- Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- MS Azure cloud certifications (e.g., Azure Administrator Associate).
- Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Knowledge of hybrid cloud, multi-cloud, and edge computing integration strategies.
- Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools (CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, Prometheus, etc.).
- Experience with enterprise application integration (EAI) or data integration platforms.
- Experience with identity and access management (IAM), SSO, and role-based access controls.
- Knowledge of data governance, compliance frameworks.
- Experience with scripting or automation.
