Senior Developer, Open Source

Responsibilities

• Contribute major features and product enhancements, especially to Agent Hooks and in-IDE functionality
• Make architectural decisions ensuring scalable and secure integrations with existing security models
• Identify technical opportunities and risks on the roadmap, leading execution aligned with objectives
• Raise quality standards by addressing code quality gaps and enhancing documentation for community repositories
• Align with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into actionable tasks
• Drive initiatives improving support for developers and customer experiences
• Foster a collaborative team environment promoting best practices and constructive feedback

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of professional software development experience delivering medium-to-large technical projects
• Advanced command of modern development tools (Git, IDEs, etc.) and proficiency in relevant programming languages
• Experience in designing maintainable systems, particularly in developer tooling and open source
• Ability to set technical direction and make architectural choices ensuring scalability and security
• Experience engaging with external contributors and managing quality in community-facing projects
• Interest in agent-assisted development and crafting secure development tools
• Strong communication skills to articulate project impact and progress to various stakeholders
