Senior Developer

Key Responsibilities (Principal Duties and Accountabilities *Essential Functions)

• Serve as a Senior Developer building the future of Stronghold, a SaaS offering
• Manage workload during sprints
• Discover user requirements and build user stories
• Troubleshoot user issues and coordinate fixes with internal engineering team

Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship Requirement: Due to contractual requirements and the nature of our work supporting U.S. Government customers, this position requires U.S. citizenship.
• Education: Bachelors degree or equivalent
• Required Skills, Experience and Abilities:
• 7+ years progressive relevant experience in professional software development
• Experience developing against relational databases and ORMs
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Comfort operating independently across multiple customer sites
• Preferred Qualifications:
• CI/CD tooling implementation experience
• Experience implementing JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Next.js, web applications
• PostgreSQL leveraging Sequelize ORM
• Experience developing applications deployed to Azure
• Experience implementing telemetry and observability in web applications (e.g., App Insights, OpenTelemetry)

• Support may occasionally require schedule adjustments outside normal business hours to accommodate test events, customer timelines, or mission needs.
• Work may occasionally be performed in secure government facilities, requiring compliance with applicable security protocols and access procedures.
