About the role

The Senior Design Quality – Electronic Engineer position is part of development, improvement, and innovation. This role requires a strong problem-solving skillset and meticulous attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Provide quality engineering support in the design and development of electronic medical device products.
  • Facilitate the application of Design Controls, Risk Management, and Change Control processes in the evaluation and implementation of changes to released products.
  • Previous experience in Electronic PCB design and development is preferred, with a formal qualification in Electronics.
  • Working knowledge of Electronic Schematics, circuit simulation and analysis, PCB Assembly Drawings.
  • Familiarity with IEC standards, including IEC 60601 and product-specific industry standards.
  • Develops, modifies, applies, and maintains quality standards and protocols for processing materials into partially finished or finished materials products.
  • Collaborates with engineering and manufacturing functions to ensure quality standards are in place.
  • Designs or specifies inspection and testing mechanisms and equipment; conducts quality assurance tests; and performs statistical analysis to assess the cost of and determine the responsibility for products or materials that do not meet required standards and specifications.
  • Ensures that corrective measures meet acceptable reliability standards and that documentation is compliant with requirements.

Requirements

Requires a Baccalaureate degree (or equivalent outside the US) with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 2 years relevant experience.

Advanced knowledge of job area combining breadth and depth, typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience.

Practical knowledge of project management.

Physical Job Requirements: Independently mobile, interacts with a computer, communicates with peers and co-workers.

Skills

Problem-solving skills, meticulous attention to detail, working knowledge of Electronic Schematics, circuit simulation and analysis, PCB Assembly Drawings, familiarity with IEC standards, and ability to develop, modify, apply, and maintain quality standards and protocols.

Pay

$98,400.00 - $147,600.00 USD

Schedule

Regular full-time schedule.
