Skills And Competencies
- 8+ years of experience in program or project management, with a focus on finance technology and/or Finance transformation initiatives
- Demonstrated ability to deliver complex, cross-functional projects on time and within budget using Agile and/or Waterfall methodologies
- Strong understanding of finance processes, systems, and the controls environment (e.g., ERP platforms, financial reporting, SOX, close processes)

- Demonstrated proficiency in artificial intelligence concepts, with hands-on experience using AI tools to streamline workflows and enhance operational efficiency. Proven ability to implement AI-powered solutions to solve business challenges.

About The Role
Lead end-to-end delivery of high-impact, cross-functional Finance strategic programs spanning technology implementation, process transformation, and change management.
Manage end-to-end delivery of complex, cross-functional Finance programs that are broad in scope, high-risk, and high-impact, with medium-to-long-term horizons.
Lead project teams comprising onshore, offshore, internal, external, and managed services resources across global locations.
Oversee Finance technology implementations, including systems integrations, data migration, and transition planning.
Drive effective change management to ensure early adoption of new financial systems and processes across the Finance organization.
Deliver well-crafted, audience-appropriate communications including executive steering committee updates, Board-level status reports, and program dashboards.
Lead issue resolution, risk identification and mitigation, and dependency management using a strong governance framework.
Track project and program budgets in partnership with corporate planning; negotiate with stakeholders to ensure delivery within scope, schedule, and budget.
Operate as a self-starter and independent problem solver—proactively identifying challenges, taking initiative, and driving solutions while fostering collaboration and iterative improvement across project teams.
About The Team
The Strategic Programs Office (SPO) drives the planning and execution of high-impact initiatives across Moody's Finance organization. Partnering with Finance leaders across the enterprise, the team leads complex, cross-functional programs—ensuring delivery against timelines and budgets, managing interdependencies, and proactively resolving challenges with a Finance-wide perspective.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, Management, Computer Science, or a related field required.
MBA, CPA, CFA, or advanced degree preferred.
