Responsibilities
- Leading the full capture lifecycle for complex Army opportunities, from early shaping through proposal submission
- Developing and executing capture strategies aligned to mission needs, funding profiles, and acquisition pathways
- Building and managing cross-functional capture teams including business development, solution architects, pricing, contracts, proposals, and delivery
- Cultivating trusted relationships with Army customers and strategic industry partners
- Conducting competitive analysis and developing win themes and value propositions that clearly differentiate offerings
Requirements
- 10+ years of Capture Management experience within the Defense market, including 5+ years supporting the Army
- Active clearance (TS/TS-SCI preferred)
- Experience with major federal contract vehicles and acquisition methods (IDIQs, GWACs, BPAs, OTAs)
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree and/or Shipley certification preferred
- Currently in Capture / BD, owning pursuits end-to-end
- Experience at a mid-size GovCon (hands-on, not delegating)
- Strong, current customer network within the Army and broader DoD community
Qualifications
Compensation for the Strategic Capture Manager includes:
- Salary Range: $200,000 – $250,000 depending on experience
- Full Benefits Package: PTO, Paid Holidays, Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, Tuition Reimbursement, Sick Leave as required by law
