Senior Deal Desk Specialist
About the Role
The Senior Deal Desk Specialist plays a critical role in building and evolving Unite Us' Deal Desk function. This role serves as a strategic partner to Sales, Revenue Operations, Finance, Legal, and Product to support complex commercial opportunities while helping develop the processes, governance, and best practices that enable the organization to scale. This individual will balance day-to-day deal execution with continuous improvement initiatives and help shape the future state of Deal Desk by identifying opportunities to improve pricing governance, approval workflows, sales enablement, and operational efficiency while ensuring an exceptional experience for revenue teams.
Responsibilities
- Partner with Sales on complex and non-standard commercial opportunities, providing guidance on pricing, deal structures, approval paths, and contractual considerations.
- Collaborate with Finance, Legal, Product, and Revenue Operations to facilitate efficient deal execution while balancing business objectives and risk.
- Support negotiations by identifying creative solutions for complex customer scenarios.
- Partner with Sales Operations leadership to help define and mature the Deal Desk operating model.
- Identify opportunities to improve pricing governance, approval processes, and commercial policies.
- Contribute to the development of scalable frameworks that support business growth while maintaining operational consistency.
- Help establish Deal Desk best practices and standard operating procedures.
- Manage the end-to-end deal lifecycle, including quote review, pricing validation, contract support, and approval coordination.
- Own complex deal escalations and work cross-functionally to drive timely resolution.
- Ensure pricing accuracy, policy compliance, and data integrity across Salesforce, CPQ, and related systems.
- Support SKU management and commercial data governance.
- Analyze deal trends, approval bottlenecks, discounting behavior, and operational metrics to recommend improvements.
- Partner on initiatives that automate workflows and reduce deal cycle times.
- Develop reporting and insights that inform commercial decision-making.
- Build and maintain Deal Desk documentation, playbooks, and approval guides.
- Deliver training to Sales and cross-functional stakeholders on commercial policies, pricing guidance, and Deal Desk processes.
- Promote adoption of new processes and continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in Deal Desk, Revenue Operations, Sales Operations, Commercial Operations, Finance, or a related function within a SaaS or technology organization.
- Experience supporting complex or enterprise sales motions.
- Experience partnering cross-functionally with Sales, Finance, Legal, and Product.
- Experience working in Salesforce and CPQ environments.
- Demonstrated success improving business processes or operational workflows.
- Experience supporting pricing strategy or commercial governance is preferred.

Schedule
This position is remote, U.S. based.
Pay
The target pay range for this role is $90,000-$110,000. The proposed salary will be dependent on the candidate's skills, experience, and competencies, as well as location.
