What We Do First American is looking for an ambitious Senior Data Insights Analyst to join our Insights & Analytics team. As a key member of the team, you will collaborate with Product, Operations, Revenue, and Business Development teams to draw insights from our data and provide business recommendations. Along with demonstrating technical and analytical skills, you will manage stakeholders across the organization to drive consensus. How You’ll Contribute Deliver real-time insights that enable our stakeholders to make strategic and data-driven decisionsDevelop the full life-cycle of data at Endpoint/First American from ambiguous and non-traditional data sourcesConduct rigorous, fact-based analysis to advise senior management on critical business recommendationsScope and develop scalable analytical frameworks, roadmaps, and metrics for the team and the broader organizationGenerate forecasts, recommendations, and strategic/tactical plans to actionable itemsApply statistical knowledge and data modeling to drive business objectivesPartner with stakeholders on ad-hoc analysis and reportingBe an owner of data at Endpoint/First American What You’ll Bring 5+ years in analytics or relevant experienceAdvanced knowledge of SQLExperience with Python/R, including knowledge of Shiny/Plotly dashboard development preferredDemonstrably advanced analytical skills with a desire to tackle complex and ambiguous problemsExperience leveraging a business intelligence platform (e.g. Tableau, Looker, Power BI)Comfortable working with limited resources or information in a fast-paced startup cultureFamiliarity with unstructured data warehouses (Redshift, Snowflake, Dynamo)Master’s or Bachelor's degree in a technical field - mathematics, economics, statistics or similar is a plus Note that the following statements only apply to candidates who will be working from an unincorporated area within Los Angeles County. ** First American will consider for employment all qualified applicants, including those with arrest or conviction records, in a manner consistent with the requirements of applicable state and local laws (e.g., the Los Angeles County Fair Chance Ordinance for Employers and the California Fair Chance Act). Pay Range: $129,300.00 - $172,300.00 Annually This hiring range is a reasonable estimate of the base pay range for this position at the time of posting. Pay is based on a number of factors which may include job-related knowledge, skills, experience, business requirements and geographic location.
