Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver recurring reporting and analysis related to Domestic and International television, streaming, digital, social, and cross-platform media performance.
- Monitor key performance indicators and identify trends, opportunities, and risks impacting business objectives.
- Conduct ad hoc analyses to support strategic initiatives, business planning, partner requests, and executive decision-making.
- Translate complex data into clear, concise insights and recommendations for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Create, develop, and maintain dashboards, scorecards, and reporting tools that support internal business partners.
- Create scalable reporting frameworks that improve accessibility, consistency, and usability of data.
- Ensure reporting output aligns with organizational standards and business requirements.
- Support the automation of recurring reporting processes to improve efficiency and scalability.
- Support evaluation of media consumption trends, fan engagement behaviors, and marketplace developments.
- Assist in developing insights that inform media rights strategy, distribution planning, content initiatives, and commercial opportunities.
- Provide analytical support for presentations, business cases, and strategic planning efforts.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across Media, Commercial, Digital, Research, Finance, and Technology teams.
- Communicate analytical findings effectively to diverse audiences.
- Serve as a trusted resource for data interpretation and reporting best practices.
- Support a culture of data-driven decision-making across the organization.
- Lead special projects, as required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Data Science, or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
- Five or more years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, data science, or related analytical roles.
- Experience analyzing large datasets and delivering actionable business insights.
- Experience supporting data warehouse environments and ETL processes preferred.
- Experience developing dashboards, visualizations, and reporting solutions.
- Experience working with databases and data querying tools such as SQL.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, problem-solving skills, written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Experience using analytical and reporting tools including Tableau, Power BI, Amazon QuickSight, or similar platforms.
- Experience using Python, R, or other analytical programming languages preferred.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a collaborative environment.
- Experience working with television, streaming, digital, social media, or audience measurement data preferred.
- Familiarity with Nielsen, Comscore, YouGov, or similar media measurement platforms preferred.
- Experience with cloud-based analytics and reporting platforms.
- Knowledge of sports media, fan engagement analytics, and content performance measurement.
