Senior Data Analyst

About the role

The Senior Data Analyst oversees and conducts the conversion of data into insights that will lead to informed business decisions. He works directly with stakeholders and the business’s top management and executives within the assigned departments.

Responsibilities

• Works directly with stakeholders and the business’s top management and executives within the assigned departments.
• Handles multiple simultaneous tasks, prioritizes work, and remains functional under pressure, and aggressive timelines.
• Develops clear and well-structured analytical plans and analyzes large data-sets and this will include, analyzing administrative data, insurance, billing claims, and other data-sets and statistical analysis of a mildly urgent/sensitive nature.
• Plays a part in shaping the business’s data infrastructure, inclusive of data-warehousing, reporting, and analytics platforms.

Requirements

• Experience in data analysis and interpretation.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proficiency in SQL and data warehousing tools.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in data analysis and business intelligence.

Skills

• Data analysis and interpretation.

• Data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
