Position Summary
This role is a part of the Decision Sciences, Delivery Data & Analytics. We are a BI team that will support the ecommerce transportation’s daily operations. You will help our users navigate through billions of data so they can take the best decision in a timely manner. You will be working with operations and finance and provide them with the insights they need. You will learn a lot about the business and upgrade your tech skills in this role. You’ll make an impact from the first day if you have:
Responsibilities
- Work with large, messy, disparate datasets and conduct ad-hoc analyses to quickly inform critical business decisions.
- Create ETLs or processes that pull data from multiple places and centralize it in one table.
- Develop data visualization to monitor and quantify the impact of changes and unique business challenges.
- Engage with team members and cross-functional teams on a periodic basis and establish credibility.
- Analyze stakeholder needs and partner with them to share relevant information. This includes partnering with Operations, Finance and Product teams on data accuracy, completeness and latency across multiple operations and systems.
- Leverage scripting languages (Python preferred) to automate activities made for reporting (Screenshots, metrics prioritization and outlier recognition).
- Document your processes and share your knowledge with your peers.
- Mentor your peers as you become a Subject Matter Expert.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics, Arts, Finance or related field and 2 years' experience in data analysis, data science, statistics, or related field.
- Master's degree in Business, Engineering, Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
- 4 years' experience in data analysis, data science, statistics, or related field.
Preferred Qualifications
- Data science, data analysis, statistics, or related field, Master’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
- Related industry experience (for example, retail, merchandising, healthcare, eCommerce).
- Successful completion of assessments in data analysis and Business Intelligence tools and scripting languages (for example, SQL, Python, Spark, Scala, R, Power BI, or Tableau).

Pay
The annual salary range for this position is $80,000.00 - $155,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include : Stock
