Senior Dairy Business Advisor

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Dairy Business Advisor to join the team of a leader in the Food & Beverages space. This role will partner closely with dairy producers and internal teams to deliver financial and risk management guidance that supports stronger business performance. The position combines consultative advisory work, relationship building, and practical market insight to help members make informed decisions. You will also contribute thought leadership, educational content, and on-farm facilitation that enhances member services and strengthens long-term profitability. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $107,680 – $161,520 annually Responsibilities Deliver financial and risk management consulting services using internal tools and resources Develop customized risk management strategies for dairy member owners Provide thought leadership and educational materials on farm risk management Build and maintain trusted relationships with dairy member owners Facilitate on-farm profit team meetings for members Participate in industry events to establish the organization as a dairy business expert Coordinate with cross-functional teams to identify risk management needs and develop solutions Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Agricultural Economics, Dairy Science, Business, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience 5+ years of experience in the dairy or agricultural industry with expertise in risk management and consulting Proven consultative sales and relationship management skills Strong understanding of dairy financial statements and market fundamentals Experience presenting complex financial concepts to diverse audiences Ability to influence and collaborate across teams Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Licensed or able to obtain necessary insurance licenses Benefits Opportunity to work with a leading cooperative in the dairy industry Access to proprietary tools and resources for financial consulting Engagement in industry events and educational programs Collaboration with cross-functional teams to enhance member services Support for sustainability and profitability initiatives Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
