Senior Cyber Test Engineer (Onsite) with Security Clearance

About the role

Nightwing is seeking a Senior Cyber Test Engineer with a security clearance to join our team in Annapolis, Maryland. The ideal candidate will lead small teams, have extensive experience in offensive cyber operations, and possess strong technical skills in Python, Bash, and Linux/Unix systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead small teams in technical leadership roles
• Develop and maintain test automation frameworks
• Design, write, review, and execute test plans, procedures, reports, and other technical documentation
• Collaborate with customers, end-users, technical leads, and program management
• Think abstractly and drive toward defined requirements and testing strategies
• Work with virtualization technologies such as Docker

Requirements

• 5+ years of test engineering or related experience
• 5+ years of experience with offensive cyber operations
• 3+ years of experience developing in Python, Bash, or similar scripting languages
• 3+ years of experience working on Linux/Unix systems
• Basic knowledge of TCP/IP networking, architecture, and core technologies
• Excellent communication, collaboration, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to interface with customers, end-users, technical leads, and program management

Qualifications

• Desired qualifications include experience building test automation frameworks, familiarity with Agile mindset and methodologies, and experience using virtualization technologies such as Docker

Skills

Strong technical skills in Python, Bash, and Linux/Unix systems, along with excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
