Senior Cx Engineer

About the role

CHA Consulting, Inc. is seeking a Senior Cx Engineer to join our Generation & Energy Management Team in Albany, NY or Syracuse, NY. This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of meaningful projects, work alongside multidisciplinary specialists, and help advance solutions for high-demand environments and next-generation technology facilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced judgement and analysis techniques to complete complex engineering designs, technical reports, specifications, and contract documents for innovative energy projects
• Plan, schedule, and coordinate detailed phases of projects with other engineering disciplines and project management staff
• Monitor project progress and performance to ensure efficient production and minimize issues for clients in manufacturing, advanced technology, and energy sectors
• Complete projects within budget and scheduling constraints, supporting sustainable and cost-effective solutions
• Provide guidance and technical review for junior engineering staff

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering required
• Minimum of 4 years of discipline-specific engineering experience required

Qualifications

• Advanced proficiency in engineering, computational, and modeling software (AutoCAD, MicroStation, etc.), as well as Microsoft Office
• Strong knowledge of QA/QC procedures, business practices, and engineering laws
• Proven leadership skills and ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

SkillsParticipation in professional engineering societies/organizations preferred

Pay

Salary Range: $105,000 - $115,000

Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards.
