Essential Functions
- Interact with customers via phone, email, and in person
- Respond and provide solutions to customer inquiries promptly
- Provide customer support including quotations, technical research, literature requests, manufacturer interactions, proposals, and supplier contact
- Track and escalate back orders and customer requirements to maximize fill rates and exceed customer expectations
- Provide technical feedback to meet customer requirements
- Collaborate with a team of staff engineers to assist with project solutions
- Interact with manufacturing partners and build professional relationships
- Visit customers as needed, including delivering needed supplies
- Aid with sales forecasting, budgeting, and long-range planning initiatives
- Maintain records, reports, documentation, and comply with office management standards
- Participate in process improvement initiatives to increase efficiency, margin performance, and customer satisfaction
- Assist with warehouse duties such as receiving, stocking, packing, shipping, and product delivery
Qualifications
- High School Diploma required
- 2+ years’ experience in industrial automation / distribution, supply chain, or similar environment
- At least 1-2 years of Customer Service / Inside Sales experience in same or similar environment
- Valid driver’s license
- Knowledge of ERP and MS Office products, including One Drive
Pay & Schedule
Salary Range: $72,000 - $77,000 based on experience plus uncapped commission potential after 90 days of employment.
