About the role
We are seeking a Senior Curam Technical Lead to support our client in managing a large-scale Curam-based case and document management system for workers' compensation adjudication. The role involves guiding implementation, integration, maintenance, and reporting activities across a complex web-based environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead technical analysis, design, configuration, customization, and integration of Curam components within a web-based case and document management environment.
- Provide technical direction to developers, analysts, and project team members supporting case management, document intake, repository, and adjudication-related functionality.
- Support system enhancements, maintenance, troubleshooting, defect resolution, and performance improvements across integrated COTS applications.
- Cook with functional and technical stakeholders to clarify requirements, assess impacts, and translate business needs into scalable technical solutions.
- Guide development and deployment activities while helping ensure solution quality, system reliability, and alignment with enterprise standards.
- Prepare weekly status reports detailing completed tasks and activities, hours by task, risks or blockers, and projected work for the following week.
- Support knowledge transfer, technical documentation, and ongoing improvements to system support processes and delivery practices.
Requirements
- IBM Certified Application Developer Cúram SPM (v7.0 or higher)
- 7+ years of experience developing and maintaining Cúram batch systems.
- 7+ years of experience developing and maintaining real-time, online systems.
- 7+ years of experience analyzing and developing paperless systems & Cúram workflows.
- 5+ years of Cúram software maintenance and development experience.
- 5+ years of experience with Oracle.
- 3+ years of Cúram 7.x experience.
- 3+ years of experience leading at least two 2 programming projects.
- Experience with setting up a Cúram build environment.
- Extensive prior experience in Cúram 7.x upgrades.
Desirable Qualifications
- 3+ years of XML experience.
- Experience with UNIX.
- 3+ years of planning and scheduling of code modifications.
- Experience in workers’ compensation systems.
- 1+ year of architect experience.
- Experience with California State Controller’s Office (SCO).
- 1+ year of experience with Rational Team Concert (RTC).
- Ability to work in a team environment.
Pay
$120,000 - $140,000
