Senior Credit Specialist

Job Summary

Our client, a Northwest Houston area oilfield services company, is hiring for a Senior Credit Specialist on a direct hire basis. This position is for a large organization with a lot of opportunity for growth and advancement. This position will be a senior role in charge of mid-to-large size portfolios, and will also be a team lead to the team and assist with training and mentoring staff members. This role is 100% in office.

Job Duties

• Perform various tasks related to credit and collections and overall accounts receivable management.
• Aid peers or credit coordinators with credit inquiries and order releases.
• Identify and assist the credit process lead with process improvements, testing, and implementation.
• Identify and communicate training needs for peers and demonstrate best practices.
• Continually evaluate credit limits for assigned accounts, identify issues needing escalation, and facilitate customer KPI meetings as required.
• Extend credit to customers within designated limits of authority and approve credit inquiries.
• Identify delinquency drivers and drive end-to-end resolution.
• Serve as backup for the team Credit Manager where needed.

Requirements

• 5+ years of commercial collections and credit review experience from a mid or large-sized company.
• Experience handling mid-to-large size accounts and customer portfolios.
• Experience with electronic billing portals.
• Advanced Excel skills (vlookups, pivot tables, power queries).

Benefits

The salary range for this position is $60-66K plus a very lucrative quarterly bonus plan.
