Senior Credit Counselor

Responsibilities

• Proficient in repossession, bankruptcy, and deceased accounts management.
• Perform collection activities for various delinquent member accounts, including Visa credit and debit cards, lines of credit, secured loans, signature loans, real estate loans, home equity lines of credit, negative shares, and returned checks.
• Review delinquent accounts to determine probable reasons for account status and contact members to resolve delinquencies.
• Utilize various techniques to promptly collect on delinquent accounts.
• Maintain the Credit Union's professional image.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One year of phone customer service experience.
• Previous collection experience.
• Ability to type.
• Solid computer skills.
• Fully fluent in Microsoft Office Suite.
