About the role
This position will join the Income & Growth team, which manages over $70B AUM and is one of the largest multi-asset strategies globally. You will work closely with the CIO, multiple senior portfolio managers, and analysts to allocate capital across a company’s capital structure. Responsibilities include conducting fundamental and credit research, monitoring relative value, determining portfolio positioning, and screening for new ideas. Ideal candidates are well-versed in high-yield credit and leveraged loans, with experience in investment grade preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Gather and assemble information to analyze companies using both subjective and quantitative tools
- Produce recommendations for the team
- Monitor relative value and portfolio positioning
- Monitor and review daily news flow
- Maintain and enhance a network of relationships with brokers, analysts, and other portfolio managers in the industry
- Participate in skill development programs, both internal and external
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Minimum of 8 years of financial or investment research experience
- Minimum of 5 years as a buy-side or sell-side credit analyst
- Capacity to work well in a team environment
- High degree of motivation and initiative
- Expertise in accounting and financial statement analysis
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Bloomberg and FactSet
Pay
The annual base salary range for this position is $136,000 - $190,500 USD. In addition to base salary, Voya offers incentive opportunities (e.g., annual cash incentives, sales incentives, and/or long-term incentives) based on role and performance. Actual compensation may vary based on geographic location, work experience, education, licensure, and skill level. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated.
