About the role

CoTrain is hiring on behalf of a fast-scaling direct-response brand looking for a high-level Creative Strategist with proven experience helping scale 8–9 figure brands. CoTrain is a vetted marketplace that connects companies with elite, pre-screened talent, so you go straight to real work. You need a very strong foundation in copywriting, marketing psychology, direct response, and creative strategy — someone who's actually been in the trenches writing scripts, developing concepts, analyzing performance, and understanding what makes an ad sell. This is a senior seat with real influence over where the creative department goes.

Responsibilities

  • Develop concepts and write scripts that scale, grounded in real direct-response and marketing psychology
  • Turn ideas and scripts into clear, executable concepts for editors
  • Analyze creative performance, run structured testing, and hunt for new opportunities to scale
  • Work shoulder-to-shoulder with editors, copywriters, and media buyers to bring winning creative to life
  • Help lead and develop the creative team, raising the level of the entire department
  • Push the brand's use of AI creative and stay ahead of where advertising is moving
  • Look at what the team does every day and ask how to make it better, more profitable, and faster to scale

Requirements

  • Proven experience with 8–9 figure brands and aggressive scaling
  • Deep training in copywriting and direct-response marketing
  • Experience in supplements/health — ED experience is a major plus, along with blood pressure or cholesterol
  • Experience leading and developing creative teams
  • Strong understanding of AI creative and where advertising is heading
  • Command of creative testing, performance analysis, and finding new angles to scale
  • Fluent working with editors, copywriters, and media buyers

Skills

Driven and constantly improving — the kind of person who looks at what's already working and asks how to make it better. You want to grow with a serious team that has aggressive plans, help raise the level of the whole creative department, and play a major role in where the company goes.

Pay

$6,000–$30,000/month, based on experience and track record.

Schedule

Fully remote, long-term (6+ months).
