Senior Counsel - Global Commercial Operations

About the role

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Counsel - Global Commercial Operations to join the team of a leader in the Pharmaceuticals & Biotech space. This role will lead operational priorities where safety, quality, compliance, and execution discipline are central to success. You will collaborate with field leadership, support functions, and cross-functional stakeholders to improve accountability, service delivery, and operational consistency. The position offers the opportunity to influence operational scale, customer outcomes, and organizational performance within a life sciences environment.

Responsibilities

• Counsel clients on legal/regulatory issues for commercial operations
• Review and approve promotional and educational materials
• Guide sales and marketing strategies with a compliance focus
• Advise on enforcement actions related to biopharma promotion
• Train commercial staff on legal requirements in biopharma
• Counsel on complex transactions with healthcare stakeholders
• Analyze precision medicine programs involving novel biomarkers

Qualifications

• J.D. or LL.M. degree from an accredited law school
• Admitted to practice law in a U.S. jurisdiction
• 4+ years of legal practice experience
• 6+ years in corporate/law firm, focusing on healthcare/life sciences
• Experience in healthcare fraud, FDA regulations, and OIG advice
• Demonstrated superior communication, analysis, and negotiation skills
• Strong client service and problem-solving focus

Location

Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Pay

$226,114 – $305,919 annually
