Responsibilities

  • Build relationships with Sales and other stakeholders for customer transactions
  • Lead the review and negotiation of various commercial agreements including SaaS and NDAs
  • Provide pragmatic legal advice to business stakeholders during negotiations
  • Develop solutions to complex contractual issues while managing risks effectively
  • Proactively address potential legal or operational issues to minimize disputes
  • Support the enhancement of contract templates and legal processes through training
  • Collaborate with Legal department colleagues to foster a high-performance culture

Qualifications

  • Qualified lawyer with 10-15+ years post-qualification experience in a leading law firm or in-house
  • Strong background in commercial contracts, specifically in the software or technology sector
  • Extensive experience in negotiating complex agreements with customers and partners
  • Ability to provide practical, commercially focused legal advice to business stakeholders
  • Familiarity with privacy and data protection issues in technology transactions

$151,500 – $281,400 annually
