Senior Counsel

The Role

The Senior Counsel is responsible for providing global legal support across SCIEX, including drafting, negotiating, and advising on commercial agreements and complex legal matters, managing litigation and regulatory matters, and supporting corporate governance and compliance.

Essential Requirements

• 7+ years as a licensed U.S. attorney with experience in a nationally recognized law firm and in-house (life sciences preferred)
• Excellent academic credentials and active U.S. Bar membership in good standing
• Demonstrated leadership and strategic thinking, including mentoring/developing others and thoughtful team building
• Substantial deal and negotiation experience, with a leadership track record on executed transactions (e.g., partnerships, collaborations, licensing, M&A, research agreements)
• Positive, collaborative “can do” team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment, manages multiple projects, and builds cross-functional relationships
