About the role

This position serves as a senior legal advisor within the company, providing strategic counsel on complex legal matters and managing litigation and regulatory compliance efforts. The role requires a deep understanding of corporate law and a proven track record in handling high-stakes cases.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive legal advice to senior management on corporate governance, contract negotiations, and regulatory compliance.
  • Manage and lead legal teams in the resolution of complex litigation matters, including coordinating with external counsel and managing case strategy.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure ongoing compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Represent the company in legal disputes before courts and regulatory bodies, including drafting pleadings, motions, and briefs.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis to support business decisions and risk assessments.

Requirements

  • JD from an accredited law school.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in corporate law, preferably in a legal department or law firm setting.
  • Proven success in managing and leading legal teams.
  • Experience in complex litigation and regulatory compliance.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

  • Admitted to practice law in at least one state/jurisdiction.
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal research tools.

Pay

Salary range: $150,000 - $200,000 per year, commensurate with experience.

Schedule

Full-time position, Monday through Friday, with occasional evening and weekend work as needed.
