About the role

This role will provide business-aligned guidance focused on governance, compliance, and operational risk management. You will partner with leaders, compliance stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to translate complex issues into practical recommendations. Responsibilities

• Provide strategic, risk-calibrated legal guidance to business leaders
• Navigate AI compliance and regulatory landscapes
• Empower sales and marketing through compliance support
• Liaise with regulators and industry groups
• Champion internal AI adoption and innovation within the legal team
• Communicate complex legal requirements clearly to stakeholders
• Mentor junior legal colleagues for team growth

Qualifications

• 7+ years of legal experience with 3+ years in-house preferred at a global tech company
• Licensed to practice law in jurisdiction
• Strong knowledge of global regulatory environment, including EU AI Act, GDPR, CCPA, and HIPAA
• Experience advising AI and/or software product development teams preferred
• Familiarity with using AI technology to enhance legal processes
