About the role
Responsible for estimating costs for aerospace manufacturing projects, providing detailed cost breakdowns, and collaborating with project managers to ensure budget adherence.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain cost models for new and existing projects
- Conduct market research to stay current with industry pricing trends
- Prepare and present cost estimates to clients and management
- Collaborate with engineering teams to identify potential cost-saving opportunities
- Monitor project progress and adjust estimates as necessary
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Economics, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in cost estimation or similar role
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Qualifications
- Knowledge of cost estimation methodologies and software tools
- Experience working in an aerospace manufacturing environment
