About the role

USAA seeks a full cycle Senior Corporate Recruiter to serve as the talent acquisition subject matter expert for Wealth Management hiring. This role requires deep market knowledge, strong relationship-building skills, and a proactive approach to engaging experienced wealth management professionals.

Responsibilities

  • Identifies and builds community partnerships to generate candidates in alignment with organization's hiring and program objectives.
  • Develops and implements creative sourcing strategies to proactively identify candidates and assemble pipeline of talent for open positions.
  • Performs full life cycle recruiting utilizing various recruitment methods.
  • Advanced technology navigation to include Candidate Relationship Management and AI systems.
  • Collaborates with recruiting teammates, business stakeholders, and external partners to establish community networks and relationships in support of our military, diversity and college hiring requirements.
  • Follows up and follows through on all submitted candidates in a timely manner and ensures that the Applicant Tracking System (Workday) is kept up to date in real time and ensures compliance with all Federal, State and Regulatory requirements.
  • Leverages defined job descriptions, develops compelling job posting descriptions to attract talent and strives to differentiate USAA from our competitors.
  • Keeps candidates continually informed with high-touch communication throughout the entire hiring process.
  • Negotiates advanced total compensation packages per job requisition within approved range, maintaining a fiduciary responsibility to the company.
  • Partners with cross-functional teams in the strategy development and implementation of business hiring solutions.
  • Participates in complex recruiting initiatives and is a strategic partner to identified business lines in development of recruiting plans.
  • Forecasts and manages talent pool size to fulfill workforce plans and hiring objectives.
  • Consults to hiring managers and/or coworkers through the recruiting processes to ensure compliance within external and internal regulatory agencies.
  • Applies and shares, advanced knowledge of recruiting discipline(s), specifically employment law, policies and procedures.
  • Serves as a resource to team members on process and policy questions and issues.
  • Ensures risks associated with business activities are effectively identified, measured, monitored, and controlled in accordance with risk and compliance policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree; OR 4 years of relevant education and/or experience.
  • 6 years progressive experience with full cycle recruiting.
  • Knowledge of applicable policies and federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Demonstrated strong experience in effective screening and interviewing techniques.
  • Advanced knowledge and use of Microsoft Office products and other software to support sourcing tools and techniques.

Qualifications

  • Experience sourcing/recruiting for licensed Wealth Management/Financial Advisor roles for a large financial services company.
  • Proven experience recruiting for a wide range of roles and successfully supporting the launch, growth, or transformation of a new department, business function, or team.
  • Strong track record of building talent pipelines and sourcing strategies for hard-to-fill and niche positions.
  • Experience partnering with senior leaders to define organizational structures, workforce plans, and hiring roadmaps.

Skills

  • Advanced knowledge of recruiting discipline(s), specifically employment law, policies and procedures.
  • Ability to navigate and utilize advanced technology tools for sourcing and candidate management.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build and maintain relationships with candidates and hiring managers.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and address recruitment challenges.

Pay

The salary range for this position is: $108,480.00 - $207,320.00

Schedule

This role is remote eligible in the continental U.S. with occasional business travel. However, individuals residing within a 60-mile radius of a USAA office will be expected to work on-site four days per week. Relocation assistance is not available for this position.
