Senior Corporate Accountant

About the role

The Senior Corporate Accountant position at Blue Cross of Idaho offers hands-on experience in Investment accounting and reporting, tax research and preparation, compiling and reviewing financial statements, and analyzing other complex financial information as requested.

Responsibilities

• Solutions-oriented approach to problem-solving

• Prepares financial statements, insurance industry financial reports, tax filings, and various other schedules and reports
• Researches and interprets accounting guidance on complex accounting and investment issues
• Performs a variety of accounting tasks including interpreting data for input into accounting software
• Prepares monthly reconciliations and analyzes variances
• Aids in the preparation of schedules for internal and external audits
• Supports in other duties as requested

Requirements

• Experience: 5 years of public accounting experience
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• Licenses/Certifications: CPA

Pay

To Be Considered For This Opportunity, You Have Experience: A good faith estimate of the current pay range is $78,064 to $117,095. The position is eligible for an annual incentive bonus (variable depending on company and employee performance).
