About the role
The FoundationCCC’s Workforce Development Department (WDD) aims to ensure that all learners in California obtain the knowledge, skills, experiences, and networks needed to connect with meaningful work, expand career options, and increase economic and social mobility. WDD works in four primary areas: building capacity within K-12, college, apprenticeship, and workforce development systems to effectively serve learners and businesses; serving as employer-of-record for paid work experience; providing wraparound services; and developing work-based learning models, tools, and technologies.
Responsibilities
- Focus on WDD grants administration projects, bringing funding to awardees on behalf of state and local partner agencies.
- Support the execution of contracts with awardees.
- Maintain accurate records for grants administration projects.
- Support project management activities.
- Review grantee data for accuracy.
- Perform advanced review and validation of data within grants management databases and spreadsheets to ensure accuracy, completeness, and alignment with submitted documentation, identifying and resolving discrepancies as needed with excellent attention to detail.
- Support project management for large-scale grant initiatives, including coordination of tasks in project management software, maintaining record keeping systems, managing and triaging emails received through general mailboxes, and supporting schedule coordination.
- Execute and coordinate clear and professional outreach efforts to grantees and payment recipients, partnering with senior project leads while proactively supporting communication, issue resolution, and process continuity.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in grants administration, preferably in a similar role.
- Experience with project management software and database management.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with data validation and accuracy.

Budgeted Hourly Pay Range: $27.85 - $28.85
