Job Duties

  • Oversees program changes; developing plans, timelines and documents as part of the updates
  • Serves as a liaison to ACGME and other related institutions, and ensures that program requirements are met
  • Develops and oversees the Residency/ Fellowship budget
  • Manages all graduate and undergraduate medical education programs for the department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation
  • Directs annual recruitment activities - Coordinates the trainee recruitment process and on boards new trainees
  • Provides administrative support for the program director or other faculty, including maintaining calendars, scheduling meetings, ordering supplies, and preparing correspondence
  • Schedules or coordinates lectures, evaluations, meetings, rounds, exams, seminars, training rotations, electives or special electives, duty/call schedules, ceremonies, or events
  • Responsible for the accuracy of all trainee data entered into PEPT. Residents/Fellows PEPT reconciliation, validation, and update any changes to trainee assignments/funding sources in the PEPT (Professional Effort Planning and Tracking) software
  • Responsible to ensure all trainees follow concur guidelines
  • Responsible for effort certification for all education related activity
  • Provides administrative support for the program director or other faculty, including maintaining calendars, scheduling meetings, ordering supplies, and preparing correspondence
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED
  • Four years of relevant experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • College Degree
  • Four years of GME experience
