Senior Controls Engineer

This role offers a salary range of $130,000 - $160,000 per year, a 15% yearly bonus, and a $15,000 Continuous Improvement Program (CIP) incentive.

We are seeking an experienced Controls Engineer to work on controls and automation projects within our facility. This position will install new systems and upgrade existing systems across our manufacturing facilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop, install, and commission control systems to optimize manufacturing processes and increase productivity.
• Program and integrate PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA systems for automated equipment.
• Provide Controls and Automation Systems technical support to other company locations.
• Design and selection of plant control system architecture (control panels, hardware, communication protocols, etc.).
• Provide technical expertise and guidance to junior engineers and other team members.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering, or related field.
• Proficient in PLC programming, HMI, SCADA, and electrical controls.
• Hands-on experience with Allen Bradley PLCs, HMI development, and Wonderware (Aveva) ArchestrA.
• Experience with .NET programming, SQL Databases, and Ethernet/IP Communication.
• Open to 25% travel.
