About the role

The Data Center Engineering team takes the physical design of our data centers into the future. Our lab mirrors a research and development department – cutting-edge strategies are born, tested and tested again. Along with a team of great minds, you take on complex topics like how we use power or how to run state-of-the-art, environmentally-friendly facilities.

Responsibilities

  • Develop scope, requirements for networking initiatives to drive the design, implementation, testing of secure, resilient operational technology (OT) security solutions.
  • Prepare design documentation, and lead the development, implementation, and onsite testing of networking solutions.
  • Review new control system infrastructure initiatives, embedding networking requirements into the life-cycle from initial design, testing to deployment.
  • Execute sustaining and life-cycle activities during pre- and post-deployment, and operations for networking solutions and operational technology (OT) infrastructure components (e.g., supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA)/human-machine interface (HMI) servers, clients, and software).
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and maturation of the OT environment to drive risk reduction, and serve as a technical liaison and collaborate between cross-functional teams to resolve complex design, integration, and deployment issues in mission-critical environments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience working on critical infrastructure projects related to process improvements.
  • Experience with mission-critical systems and operations (e.g., power generation, data center, refinery, chip fabrication, chemical plant processing, etc.).
  • Experience implementing controls engineering.

Preferred qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Engineering or Networking.
  • 7 years of experience working with mission-critical facilities (Data Centers, Power Plants, or Manufacturing).
  • Experience leading OT networking maturation and improvement initiatives (e.g., secure by design principles, and segmentation strategies).
  • Experience with OT networking design and integration.

Pay

$144,000 - $209,000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits

Qualifications
