About the role

The Data Center Engineering team takes the physical design of our data centers into the future. Our lab mirrors a research and development department – cutting-edge strategies are born, tested and tested again. Along with a team of great minds, you take on complex topics like how we use power or how to run state-of-the-art, environmentally-friendly facilities. You're a visionary who optimizes for efficiencies and never stops seeking improvements – even small changes that can make a huge impact. You generate ideas, communicate recommendations to senior-level executives and drive implementation alongside facilities technicians.

  • Review new control system infrastructure initiatives, embedding networking requirements into the life-cycle from initial design, testing to deployment.
  • Execute sustaining and life-cycle activities during pre- and post-deployment, and operations for networking solutions and operational technology (OT) infrastructure components (e.g., supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA)/human-machine interface (HMI) servers, clients, and software).
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and maturation of the OT environment to drive risk reduction, and serve as a technical liaison and collaborate between cross-functional teams to resolve complex design, integration, and deployment issues in mission-critical environments.
