Senior Contracts and Compliance Manager

About the role

This is an onsite role that can be located in either Brunswick, GA or Portsmouth, VA. At Jered, a PAR Systems Company and leader in engineered solutions supporting the U.S. Navy and maritime industry, Jered is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Contracts & Compliance Manager to lead the company's contract administration, export compliance, and customer compliance functions. This position serves as the company's senior authority for contract administration, export control compliance, and customer‑driven regulatory requirements, ensuring alignment with business objectives while protecting the company's legal, contractual, and compliance interests.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the full contract lifecycle for U.S. Government and commercial programs.
• Provide strategic guidance to company leadership.
• Lead negotiations of complex agreements.
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and contractual obligations.
• Serve as Jered's primary Export Control Representative and customer‑facing point of contact for cybersecurity and Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) requirements, including CMMC, NIST 800‑171, and DFARS cybersecurity requirements.
• Lead the negotiation, administration, and management of a wide variety of government and commercial contracts while identifying contractual risks, developing mitigation strategies, and ensuring contractual obligations are effectively communicated across the organization.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership and cross‑functional teams, providing guidance that supports sound business decisions and successful program execution.
