About the role
This position is based in Woodridge, MN, within the Structural Heart division. Our business purpose is to restore health and improve quality of life by designing and providing device and management solutions for treating structural heart disease.
Responsibilities
- Coordinates and leads the implementation and effectiveness of continuous improvement tools and systems in support of site goals and objectives.
- Facilitates and coaches cross-functional improvement events to deliver positive and measurable results for the business.
- Supports the continuous improvement strategy in collaboration with the Continuous Improvement Department.
- Coordinates with operational leadership to ensure alignment and optimal use of resources related to continuous improvement.
- Works with site leaders to develop long-term facility plans and capacity models.
- Develops and trains continuous improvement methods such as value stream mapping, 5S, line balancing, standard work, and material flow to internal resources within the organization.
- Collaborates with management to hire and retain a diverse, highly qualified staff.
- Provides input for identification of department goals which align to strategic objectives, and manages the execution of goals through coaching and mentoring.
- Maintains a safe and professional work environment.
- Maintains positive and cooperative communications and collaboration with all levels of employees, customers, contractors, and vendors.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering or related discipline.
- 5+ years of experience.
- 3-4 years of experience with a post-graduate degree.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience leading continuous improvement events.
- Experience with problem-solving methodologies such as A3/DMAIC.
- Med Device or regulated industry experience.
- Project management experience.

Pay
The base pay for this position is $78,000.00 – $156,000.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
