Senior Content Stylist

About the role

The Content Stylist is responsible for translating creative concepts into fresh, visually compelling fashion stories that feel elevated, culturally relevant, and social-first. The stylist will work closely with Content Creators to develop and execute looks that bring each concept and persona to life while remaining aligned with Fashion Nova’s brand identity and customer. This role requires a strong fashion point of view, an understanding of current fashion and social trends, and the ability to adapt styling across a wide range of concepts, aesthetics, and personas. The ideal candidate balances creativity with strong organization and structure, managing the detailed preparation required for deck-based and on-set styling while maintaining an efficient and cohesive studio and styling workflow.

Responsibilities

• Execute styling for content shoots, ensuring looks are conceptually strong, trend-forward, and aligned with the creative direction.
• Translate creative concepts and personas into distinct, cohesive fashion stories through styling.
• Collaborate closely with Content Creators to bring concepts to life and make confident, real-time styling decisions on set.
• Maintain a strong understanding of Fashion Nova’s brand identity, customer, product, and evolving fashion direction.
• Meet daily productivity and KPI expectations while executing assigned styling needs and maintaining a high visual standard.
• Oversee styling from preparation through shoot execution, ensuring all looks, accessories, samples, and details are fully prepared.
• Demonstrate strong styling fundamentals and product knowledge, with an ability to build complete looks through silhouette, proportion, layering, accessorizing, and trend awareness.
• Resolve on-set styling challenges with resourcefulness and sound creative judgment while maintaining Fashion Nova standards.
• Remain adaptable on set, identifying opportunities to elevate a look while staying true to the creative direction.
• Maintain a highly organized styling workflow across the content closet, studio space, racks, samples, and styling materials.
• Partner cross-functionally with relevant teams to ensure samples and product are secured and prepared for content shoots.
• Coordinate the sourcing, preparation, and transportation of samples and styling materials for content shoots.
• Maintain clear communication with Content Creators, the Styling Manager, Sample Coordinators, and cross-functional partners to ensure a seamless styling workflow.
• Balance multiple concepts, deadlines, and styling needs while maintaining consistency, efficiency, and a high visual standard.

Requirements

• Minimum of five years of experience as a Fashion Stylist, preferably within a fast-paced content, social, fashion, or brand environment.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating on-model styling across content, lifestyle, editorial, and/or social-focused imagery.
• Strong understanding of current fashion, social media, and cultural trends.
• Ability to translate creative concepts into distinct visual identities and personas.
• Strong eye for proportion, silhouette, accessorizing, layering, and overall visual composition.
• Ability to work quickly and make confident creative decisions in a fast-paced shoot environment.
• Highly organized with the ability to manage detailed, deck-based styling preparation and multiple priorities.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively while maintaining strong communication.
• Resourceful, adaptable, and solutions-oriented with a strong attention to detail.
• Passion for fashion, content, and creating visually compelling work that resonates with a social audience.
• Additional language(s) a plus.
